A three day deep dive into the living landscape of our fascia
Online: April 2027
In-person, Copenhagen: May 2027
Our bodies are continuously shaped by our experiences, our surroundings and the ways in which we inhabit the world. In the most literal sense, we take on the shape of the life we find ourselves living. These imprints become integrated into the tissues as patterns, tendencies and postural holding habits. Over time, they may manifest as persistent patterns in movement, muscle tone, sensory perception and the responsiveness of the nervous system
From this perspective, fascia carries the imprints of a life lived, holding a history that reaches all the way back to conception. Not as hidden secrets stored in isolated corners of the body, but as embodied, experience-shaped patterns that influence how we move, sense, respond and relate to the world
Like everything else in the body, connective tissue is living, dynamic, and a testament to our capacity for change. We are designed to adapt and reshape ourselves in response to our circumstances and the input we receive. As our experiences and surroundings change, the body, too, holds the potential to find new ways of organising, moving, and being in the world. What has been shaped can be reshaped
A 20hr deep dive into the living landscape of our fascia
Fascia is not merely a passive support network, but rather a living, sensory and vital system that plays a crucial role in the body’s function, mobility and overall well-being. It surrounds, permeates and connects every part of the body, bringing its many components together into an integrated whole. It forms a continuous, communicative network that bridges different systems and processes throughout the body
This vast landscape of connective tissue is both powerful and full of potential, yet it can also impose significant limitations on how we move, experience ourselves and engage with life
This training weaves together somatic exploration of the body’s tissue landscape with a solid theoretical foundation. We take a closer look at the many facets of connective tissue and its perceived role in relation to postural patterns, imprints, pain, trauma, and our way of being in the world.
The course is for both teachers who wish to integrate these practices into their teaching and those who simply want to deepen their understanding and build a stronger foundation for their own practice
No prior knowledge of connective tissue or the practices is required to participate — just an open mind and a sense of curiosity
The training will provide you with a foundational understanding of:
The anatomy and physiology of connective tissue
The mapped myofascial meridian lines of connective tissue (Anatomy Trains)
Myofascial Release and somatic movement as practices for connection, movement, and exploration of the body’s tissues from the inside out
The interplay between connective tissue and the unfolding of the nervous system
The relationship between connective tissue, injuries, and pain
Imprints, postural patterns, and current research on trauma — including the importance of safety as a prerequisite for unfolding and expansion
How to design and structure classes based on Myofascial Release
are you ready to dive in?
To learn the tools to teach
To deepen your own practice
To explore what lives beyond the patterns
To navigate from what this body of you knows
To find fluidity in what became rigid
To lean in to the interconnectedness that your body remembers
To try and follow what is communicated
To remember what was before the layers and restrictions

Nope. If you’re curious about the topic, you’re so welcome to join! Teaching experience is not needed to join in - but if you expect to be teaching spaces, I would no doubt recommend you to do a foundational training too
